Weed-proof cloth, also known as horticultural floor cloth, can effectively prevent weeds in planting bases and resist insect pests. It has been widely used in recent years. It is mostly used in nurseries, farms, forestry and other places with a lot of weeds. It is a cloth-like ground covering made of high-density woven black plastic material that has been treated with special anti-UV treatment and is both abrasion-resistant and anti-aging. Covering it with it will not damage the soil properties and structure, and can achieve the effect of cement floor.
Inside the greenhouse, there are three main ways to apply horticultural grass-proof cloth: overall ground protection, partial ground protection, and seedbed base layer.
1. Overall ground protection
The greenhouse floor is fully paved, which is used for soilless cultivation of vegetables and flowers, potted crops, etc. The greenhouse floor of the light-blockage net is directly laid with ground cloth, without the need to build another floor. Crops can be placed accurately according to the marking lines on the ground cloth.
2. local ground protection
This usage is mainly used in conjunction with the seedbed to prevent weeds from growing in the lower part of the seedbed and causing disease. Laying floor cloth on the lower part of the seedbed is one of the common uses in greenhouses. This method can also reduce water accumulation in the lower part of the seedbed.
3． seedbed base

Weed-proof cloth can also be laid directly on the seedbed surface as a support layer for the bed surface, thereby simplifying the support structure of the bed surface and being suitable for various cultivation containers. It can also be used as a sunshade net.
